Three Minutes of Intimacy (Ostersund) excerpt

This is an excerpt from the 20+ dance partners during a performance in Ostersund, Sweden in 2008. The first dance is with Meeri (a woman), the second is with Matts (a man).

Three Minutes of Intimacy begins with an open invitation to the a community to dance with me. They could choose the song and how we danced; then I would lead a video taped conversation for three minutes. Rather than choosing a white box gallery, I go to where the men are. Three Minutes premiered in Carson City, NV at the Harley-Davidson Dealership and the Greenhouse Garden Center. It has also been presented in Ostersund, Sweden in 2008 at the New World Bank Conference, and New York in 2009 at the Swiss Institute during a Swiss Embassy reception.
