Hamburger Diaries is an investigation into the indescribable nature of sensory experiences such as taste. We are each trapped in our own bodies and senses, struggling to create a shared reality. When language fails us we become aware that none of us can be certain what we FEEL is the same as what anyone else feels.

Hamburger Diaries is a crowd-sourced project (made in one week) in which I asked my Facebook friends to eat a hamburger and describe what the meat tasted like. Many of my friends posted pictures and comments to my Facebook feed, I recorded video of those who met me to share a burger.
